Raffles

1. What raffles are currently available?
   
   We offer a number of raffles with grand prizes ranging between $5,000 and $250,000. Please see our Raffles page for more information.
2. Does someone actually win the grand prizes?
   
   Absolutely! Unlike other sweepstakes and lottery like games, iPlayiGive guarantees that there will be a winner for all listed prizes.
3. How do I participate in iPlayiGive Raffles?
   
   There are two ways to participate in an iPlayiGive Raffle: (1) make use of our Charity or Microcredit services or (2) via a mail in entry without use of our services. Customers that make use of our Charity and Microcredit services are automatically entered into the Raffle associated with the service selected. Please see the official rules for more details.
4. When are the prize drawings held?
   
   Drawings for each iPlayiGive Raffle are held as soon as we reach the required number of participants or by a specific date. Please see the official rules for more details.

6. What are the iPlayiGive Raffle eligibility requirements?
   
   iPlayiGive Raffles are open to legal residents of the 50 United States (void in Florida and New York) and the District of Columbia who are at least 18 years of age at the time of entry. Please see the official rules for more details.
7. How many times can I enter?
   
   Participants are limited to the following number of entries per promotional period:
   
   

   • $250,000: 100 entries
   • $50,000: 50 entries
   • $5,000: 25 entries
8. What are the odds of winning iPlayiGive Raffles?

Services

1. What services does iPlayiGive currently offer?
   
   We currently offer the Microcredit and Charity services. Please click on the links below for more information:
   
   

   • Microcredit: Help the world's poor lift themselves out of poverty.
   • Charity: Get money to U.S. charities by simply pointing and clicking on causes like Education, Envirnoment, and Health.
2. Can I give directly to a charitable organization of my choice through your services?
   
   Not at this time. But, you can help guide iPlayiGive in how contributed dollars are dispersed by selecting the causes that interest you most through our Charity Service. Once you and other customers make selections, we search through our database of over one million organizations to find worthy recipients. Please visit our Charity Service page for more details.
3. How do I know which organizations receive money?
   
   iPlayiGive will provide online reports detailing the names and amounts disbursed to recipient organizations.
4. How often do you disburse money to recipient organizations?
   
   iPlayiGive disburses money on a quarterly basis.
5. What exactly is the "service fee?"
   
   The service fee consists of two parts. The first, and largest part, is the charitable contribution that iPlayiGive sends to an organization that matches your interests. The second, and smaller part, is the portion that iPlayiGive keeps to run the services provided and to give out cash prizes.
6. How does iPlayiGive use my service fee?
   
   iPlayiGive strives to run an efficient organization. Here is a more specific breakdown of your service fee:
   
   

   • 70 to 80% is paid out to worthy organizations. This amount depends on the cost of administration for the service and on the ease of measuring the service's impact on society.
   • 5 to 10% is used for prize payouts.
   • The remaining portion is used to run iPlayiGive (e.g., pay employees, credit card fees, service expenses)

Taxes and Deductions

1. Is my service fee tax deductible?
   
   No. At this time iPlayiGive is not registered as a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization and cannot accept tax deductible donations.
2. Should I care that my service fee is not tax deductible?
   
   This really depends on you and your financial situation. The U.S. government incentivizes people by providing a tax deduction for contributions to charitable organizations. Unfortunately, not all folks qualify to actually make use of the deduction. In fact, the majority of tax payers (about 70-75%) take the standard deduction, as opposed to itemizing their deductions, and therefore, cannot include deductions for charitable donations. iPlayiGive is offering a different type of incentive. We're giving you the chance to win large cash prizes. Please consult your local CPA or tax attorney for more information.

My Winnings

1. What do I do with my winnings?
   
   Any prizes won are yours to do with as you please. After all, it's your money. Keep it and go have some fun or give it away. It's your decision to make.
2. Do I have to give my winnings away to a charitable cause?
   
   Absolutely not. The fact that you've won means you've already done your part to help get large sums of money to worthwhile organizations.
3. How do I know if I've won?
   
   iPlayiGive will contact you via the email address listed in your account.
4. How do I claim my prize?
   
   The email that you receive stating that you've won will contain instructions on how to claim your prize.

Prize Payments

1. I've won! How long does it take to receive my first payment?
   
   You will receive your first payment 8-10 weeks after receiving notification that you've won.
2. How many monthly payments does iPlayiGive make for my prize?
   
   The number of prize payments depends on the amount awarded. All payments are equal and will be made monthly according to the following schedule:

3. Do you pay out prizes less than $25?
   
   No. Prizes less than or equal to $25 will be awarded as a credit to your iPlayiGive account. The credit has no redeemable cash value.
4. Where are my payments sent?
   
   Payments are send to the address listed in your account profile unless different arrangements are made at the time of disbursement. We want you to get your money quickly so please make sure to keep your account's address and contact information up to date.
5. What happens if I move?
   
   Please update your account's address and contact information.
6. Who is responsible for paying taxes on the prizes?
   
   You are responsible for paying any taxes. Please consult your local CPA or tax attorney for more information.

Website Security and Privacy

1. Do you store my credit card number?
   
   No. Your credit card number and its associated security code is not stored in our system. If PayPal is not used, we will store the expiration date, billing address and last 4 digits of the credit card number.
2. Do you share my personally identifiable information with third parties?
   
   No. Information that personally identifies you will never be sold or shared with third parties. Please see our privacy policy for more information.
3. Do you share any information with third parties?
   
   iPlayiGive reserves the right to sell non-descriptive, general information to third parties. This includes buying habits, category selections, gender information, geography and age information for our user base as a whole.
4. What steps do you take to ensure my information is kept safe?
   
   iPlayiGive takes security very seriously! Here is a list of steps that we take to keep your personal information safe:
   
   

   • We do not store your credit card number.
   • Your password is stored in an encrypted form in our database.
   • Your passwords and credit card number are never output in any log files.
   • When sensitive information is transmitted to us, it is done via https (encrypted secure connection).
   • We will never send you an email with your password or credit card number.
   • We do not sell any information that identifies you to any third party.

3. What do I do if I forget my password?
   
   1. Go to the forgot password page.
   2. Enter the email address that you used to sign up and hit the submit button.
   3. An email will be sent to you. Once you receive it click on the link to create a new password.
4. What address should I use on my profile?
   
   The address listed in your profile must be your legal residence. You will have a chance to enter an alternate billing address during payment processing.
